YOUR telegrams Nos. 108 of 15th July and 152 of 6th November. Uncertificated opium in Hong Kong and in bond at treaty ports on 8th May amounted to 11,021 chests. Other uncertificated opium imported into Shanghai and Canton in two subsequent months amounted to 438 chests, making total of 11,459 chests for basis of reduction for export from India under annex to agreement.
